The technical examination for judicial police officers of the national gendarmerie provided for in article R. 5 gendarmes with at least three years’ service in the gendarmerie on 1 January of the year of the examination.

The rules governing access to the preparation and preparation of candidates for the technical examination are laid down by ministerial instruction.

The date of the technical examination and the test subjects are set by the commission provided for in article 16 (2° and 4°) of the present code on the proposal of the director of military personnel of the national gendarmerie.

The material organisation of the technical examination tests, which take place in one or more centres, is provided by the military personnel directorate of the national gendarmerie.
