Article A36-10-5 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The date of the technical examination and the subjects of the tests are chosen, by mutual agreement, depending on the ministry to which the candidates are to be assigned, by the director of criminal affairs and pardons, by the director of the general directorate of the national police force and by the director general of public finance on the proposal of the director of training of the national police force or by the director of criminal affairs and pardons and by the director general of public finance on the joint proposal of the head of the human resources department of the general directorate of public finance and the head of the human resources department of the general directorate of customs and indirect rights.
