Article D111-13 of the French Consumer Code

Without prejudice to the information obligations set out in articles L. 221-5 and L. 222-5 applicable to distance sellers of products and services, any person carrying out the activity mentioned in the ninth paragraph of article L. 111-7 shall display, in a legible and comprehensible manner, close to each offer of products or services which it proposes to compare, the following information:

1° The essential characteristics of the goods or services;

2° The total price to be paid by the consumer;

3° Where they exist, the commercial guarantees, governed by Articles L. 217-21 to L. 217-23, included in the price.

The price includes, where applicable, all costs, particularly administrative, management, reservation and cancellation costs, delivery costs, intermediation costs, interest as well as commissions and taxes. It mentions any special conditions for applying the advertised price and its basis of calculation when an exact price cannot be indicated.

Sans préjudice des obligations d’information prévues aux articles L. 221-5 et L. 222-5 applicables aux vendeurs à distance de produits et de services, toute personne exerçant l’activité mentionnée au neuvième alinéa de l’article L. 111-7 fait apparaître, de manière lisible et compréhensible, à proximité de chaque offre de produit ou de services dont elle propose la comparaison, les informations suivantes :

1° Les caractéristiques essentielles du bien ou du service ;

2° Le prix total à payer par le consommateur ;

3° Lorsqu’elles existent, les garanties commerciales, régies par les articles L. 217-21 à L. 217-23, comprises dans le prix.

Le prix inclut, le cas échéant, tous les frais, notamment, de dossier, de gestion, de réservation, d’annulation, les frais de livraison, les frais d’intermédiation, les intérêts ainsi que les commissions et les taxes. Il mentionne les éventuelles conditions particulières d’application du prix annoncé et sa base de calcul lorsqu’un prix exact ne peut être indiqué.
