Article D111-17 of the French Consumer Code

Any person carrying on the activity referred to in Article L. 111-7-2 shall indicate clearly and visibly:

<1° Near the notices:

a) The existence or otherwise of a procedure for monitoring notices;

b) The date of publication of each notice, as well as the date of the consumer experience concerned by the notice;

c) The criteria for ranking the notices, including chronological ranking.

2° In a specific, easily accessible section:

a) The existence or otherwise of consideration provided in exchange for the posting of a review;

b) The maximum period for publication and retention of a review.

Toute personne exerçant l’activité mentionnée à l’article L. 111-7-2 indique de manière claire et visible :

1° A proximité des avis :

a) L’existence ou non d’une procédure de contrôle des avis ;

b) La date de publication de chaque avis, ainsi que celle de l’expérience de consommation concernée par l’avis ;

c) Les critères de classement des avis parmi lesquels figurent le classement chronologique.

2° Dans une rubrique spécifique facilement accessible :

a) L’existence ou non de contrepartie fournie en échange du dépôt d’avis ;

b) Le délai maximum de publication et de conservation d’un avis.
