Article D131-2-1 of the French Sports Code

Sports federations shall forward information relating to the identity of the persons referred to in article D. 131-2 to government departments in order to:

1° Enable these departments to check that these persons are complying with their good repute obligations as set out in articles L. 212-9 and L. 322-1 ;

2° Enable these departments to carry out the necessary checks to ensure that these persons are not in breach of any measures taken against them pursuant to article L. 212-13.

Les fédérations sportives transmettent les informations relatives à l’identité des personnes mentionnées à l’article D. 131-2 aux services de l’Etat afin :


1° De permettre à ces services de contrôler le respect par ces personnes de leurs obligations d’honorabilité prévues par les articles L. 212-9 et L. 322-1 ;


2° De permettre à ces services d’opérer les vérifications nécessaires pour s’assurer que ces personnes ne méconnaissent pas, le cas échéant, les mesures prises à leur encontre en application de l’article L. 212-13.
