The specialised commission on prevention contributes to the definition and implementation of regional prevention policy, and as such :
1° It prepares an opinion on the draft regional health plan, as well as on its revision, monitoring and the results of its evaluation;
2° It formulates any proposals on regional prevention policy, in particular to reduce social and geographical inequalities in health in the region;
3° It is informed of :
– the mechanisms put in place by the competent coordination commission in the prevention sector to ensure that prevention and health promotion actions complement each other and that their funding is consistent;
– the annual report on the activities of the Coordination Commission responsible for prevention, drawn up by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency;
– the Agency’s results in terms of health monitoring and safety.
