Article D212-12 of the French Sports Code

The professional certificate is awarded for a subject area, a multi-disciplinary area or a specific field.

Each option is created after consultation with the “sport and entertainment” professional advisory committee under the conditions set out in article R. 6113-21 of the French Labour Code:

either by an order of the minister responsible for sport;

– or by an order of the ministers responsible for youth and sport;

-or, in the case of the joint creation of a specialisation, by an order of the ministers concerned.

These orders define the professional reference framework and the certification reference framework, the composition of which is set out in article D. 212-13. They may lay down equivalence or exemption measures.

Article D212-12

Le certificat professionnel est délivré au titre d’une mention disciplinaire, pluridisciplinaire ou liée à un champ particulier.

Chaque mention est créée après avis de la commission professionnelle consultative “sport et animation” dans les conditions mentionnées à l’article R. 6113-21 du code du travail :

-soit par un arrêté du ministre chargé des sports ;

-soit par un arrêté des ministres chargés de la jeunesse et des sports ;

-soit dans le cas de création commune d’une mention, par un arrêté des ministres intéressés.

Ces arrêtés définissent le référentiel professionnel et le référentiel de certification dont la composition est fixée à l’article D. 212-13. Ils peuvent fixer des mesures d’équivalence ou de dispense.
