The professional certificate is obtained by capitalisation of four units defined by order of the Minister for Youth and Sport, of which : -one is common to all specialisations ; -three are specific to the specialisation.

There are two types of assessment: 1° For the first, the production of a personal written document followed by an interview; 2° For the second, a work situation.

The rector of the academic region appoints the selection boards, chairs them or delegates the chairmanship, and awards the diplomas under the conditions laid down by order in accordance with article D. 212-19.
