In application of article L. 217-10, the seller shall inform the consumer of the practical arrangements for returning the goods if they cannot be brought into conformity at the place where the goods are located.
If the goods can be returned by post without causing the consumer any major inconvenience or incurring costs disproportionate to their value, the consumer shall send the goods to the seller by post. In this case, article L. 241-6 is applicable.
In any event, the consumer may not be required to ensure or pay for the transport of the goods other than by post.
