Notification of the test shall be given to the athlete designated to be tested by the person in charge of the test or by the chaperone provided for inarticle R. 232-56 designated by that person.
The notification specifies the date, time, place and nature of the test. It must be signed by the athlete and given or forwarded without delay to the person in charge of testing or to the chaperone.
For athletes designated to be tested who do not train at a fixed location, or in the event of special circumstances that do not allow notification of the test to be made in writing, the agency shall determine the procedures for guaranteeing the origin and receipt of this notification. The approved sports federations shall ensure that those concerned are informed.
Refusal to read, sign or return the notification constitutes evasion of the taking of a sample within the meaning of 1° of article L. 232-9-2.
