Article D2411-6 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The provisions set out in articles L. 2121-10, L. 2121-11, L. 2121-12, L. 2121-17, in the first paragraph of article L. 2121-18, articles L. 2121-20 and L. 2121-21 apply to the convening, meetings and deliberations of the trade union commission, subject to the provisions of the first paragraph of article L. 2411-4 and articles L. 2411-11 and L. 2411-15.

The first meeting of the syndicate committee following its formation is convened by the mayor, who informs the prefect or sub-prefect. If no meeting is convened within three months of the election of the syndicate commission, it is convened by the prefect or sub-prefect.

Les dispositions prévues aux articles L. 2121-10, L. 2121-11, L. 2121-12, L. 2121-17, au premier alinéa de l’article L. 2121-18, aux articles L. 2121-20 et L. 2121-21 s’appliquent aux convocations, aux séances et aux délibérations de la commission syndicale, sous réserve des dispositions du premier alinéa de l’article L. 2411-4 et des articles L. 2411-11 et L. 2411-15.

La première réunion de la commission syndicale qui suit sa constitution est convoquée par le maire qui en informe le préfet ou le sous-préfet. A défaut de convocation dans les trois mois qui suivent l’élection de la commission syndicale, celle-ci est convoquée par le préfet ou le sous-préfet.
