The body that carried out the classification visit has a period of one month from the date on which the visit to the furnished accommodation was completed to provide the owner or his representative with the visit certificate, which includes:
a) An inspection report certifying compliance with the classification table for the category requested;
b) The inspection grid completed by the assessing body;
c) A proposed classification decision for the category indicated in the inspection report.
The owner of the furnished accommodation or his representative has fifteen days from receipt of this inspection certificate to refuse the classification proposal.
On expiry of this period, and in the absence of a refusal, the classification is acquired.
Classification is awarded for a period of five years.
An order by the Minister for Tourism specifies the application procedure and the composition and format of the application file.
