Article D4153-29 of the French Labour Code

I. – It is forbidden to assign young people to maintenance work when it cannot be carried out when the vehicle is stationary, without the possibility of unexpectedly restarting the transmissions, mechanisms and work equipment in question.

II. – The prohibition mentioned in I may be waived under the conditions and in the forms provided for in section 3 of this chapter.

I. – Il est interdit d’affecter les jeunes à des travaux de maintenance lorsque ceux-ci ne peuvent être effectués à l’arrêt, sans possibilité de remise en marche inopinée des transmissions, mécanismes et équipements de travail en cause.

II. – Il peut être dérogé à l’interdiction mentionnée au I dans les conditions et formes prévues à la section 3 du présent chapitre.
