Article D421-17 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

An innovative company, within the meaning of articles L. 421-9 and L. 421-10, a company that meets one of the following criteria:
1° The company is or has been a beneficiary over the last five years of public support for innovation appearing on a list set by order of the Minister responsible for the economy;
2° The company’s capital is or has been over the last five years wholly or partly held by an investment entity whose main purpose is to finance or invest in innovative companies;
3° The company is or has been supported over the last five years by a support structure dedicated to innovative companies.

Article D421-17

Présente le caractère d’une entreprise innovante, au sens des articles L. 421-9 et L. 421-10, l’entreprise qui répond à l’un des critères suivants :
1° L’entreprise est ou a été bénéficiaire au cours des cinq dernières années d’un soutien public à l’innovation figurant sur une liste fixée par arrêté du ministre chargé de l’économie ;
2° Le capital de l’entreprise est ou a été au cours des cinq dernières années en totalité ou en partie détenu par une entité d’investissement ayant pour objet principal de financer ou d’investir dans des entreprises innovantes ;
3° L’entreprise est ou a été accompagnée au cours des cinq dernières années par une structure d’accompagnement dédiée aux entreprises innovantes.
