Article D4622-39 of the French Labour Code

Within three months of their appointment, the members of the inspection committee receive the training they need to carry out their duties, from the body of their choice. This training is paid for by the occupational health and safety department.

If their term of office is renewed and they have been in office for three consecutive or non-consecutive years, the members of the Control Committee are entitled, under the same conditions, to a training course to improve and update their knowledge.

The content and organisational conditions of such training courses may be specified by collective branch agreement.

Les membres de la commission de contrôle bénéficient, dans les trois mois qui suivent leur nomination, de la formation nécessaire à l’exercice de leur mandat, auprès de l’organisme de leur choix. Cette formation est à la charge du service de prévention et de santé au travail.

En cas de renouvellement de leur mandat et lorsqu’ils ont exercé leurs fonctions pendant trois ans, consécutifs ou non, les membres de la commission de contrôle bénéficient, dans les mêmes conditions, d’un stage de perfectionnement et d’actualisation de leurs connaissances.

Le contenu et les conditions d’organisation de ces formations peuvent être précisés par accord collectif de branche.
