Article D4632-8 of the French Labour Code

The employment adviser acts in the workplace in order to:
1° Ensure the well-being of workers in the company and facilitate their adaptation to work;
2° Study, in particular, the problems raised by the employment of women, young people and disabled workers;
3° Coordinate and promote the social initiatives decided by the employer and by the social and economic committee and act as a technical adviser to the latter on social issues;
4° Contribute to any educational action undertaken by the social and economic committee.

Le conseiller du travail agit sur les lieux du travail afin :
1° De veiller au bien-être du travailleur dans l’entreprise et de faciliter son adaptation au travail ;
2° D’étudier plus particulièrement les problèmes soulevés par l’emploi des femmes, des jeunes et des travailleurs handicapés ;
3° De coordonner et de promouvoir les réalisations sociales décidées par l’employeur et par le comité social et économique et d’exercer auprès de ce dernier les fonctions de conseiller technique pour les questions sociales ;
4° De concourir à toute action d’ordre éducatif entreprise par le comité social et économique.
