When the public prosecutor receives the convicted person against whom a deferred committal order has been issued, he or she informs him or her of the prison in which he or she is to be incarcerated, as well as the date and times at which he or she is to report to that prison.
After this information has been provided, the public prosecutor issues an order for the execution of the warrant in accordance with article D. 48-2-5, which instructs the head of the designated prison to receive and detain the offender from the date set if he or she reports on that date, or to inform him or her otherwise.
If a committal order with deferred effect has been issued when the person was not present at the hearing, the public prosecutor may, when the provisions of Article 716-5, carry out the formalities provided for in the first paragraph via the audiovisual means of telecommunication provided for in Article 706-71.
