Article D49-68 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The notice sent to the victim pursuant to the third paragraph of Article 712-16-2 informs the victim that if the convicted person breaches the prohibition on receiving, meeting or entering into contact with the victim, the victim may immediately inform the sentence enforcement judge or, failing this, the public prosecutor.

This notice is not sent if the victim has requested not to be informed in accordance with the provisions of article D. 49-72.

L’avis adressé à la victime en application du troisième alinéa de l’article 712-16-2 lui indique qu’en cas de violation par le condamné de l’interdiction de la recevoir, de la rencontrer ou d’entrer en relation avec elle elle peut en informer sans délai le juge de l’application des peines ou, à défaut, le procureur de la République.

Cet avis n’est pas adressé si la victime a demandé à ne pas être informée conformément aux dispositions de l’article D. 49-72.
