The Sentence Enforcement Judge of the Paris Judicial Court may chair meetings of the Sentence Enforcement Commission when the situation of a sentenced person whose case he is monitoring pursuant to Article 706-22-1, either in person or using a means of audiovisual telecommunication provided for by Article 706-71.
Failing this, the sentence enforcement judge presiding over the committee’s meetings to examine the situation of such a person is that of the court within whose jurisdiction the prison is located. The Paris enforcement judge may send this magistrate any document likely to enlighten the commission before it delivers its opinion. This opinion is then sent by the sentence enforcement judge of the penitentiary establishment, together with the latter’s opinion, to the Paris sentence enforcement judge.
