Article D5424-36 of the French Labour Code

The contributions paid by the employer to the paid leave funds are based on all salaries taken into account for the calculation of social security contributions, less an allowance for each of them, the amount of which is set annually by a joint order of the ministers responsible for employment and the budget. This deduction may not be less than 8,000 times the hourly wage of a labourer in the construction industry.

Les cotisations versées par l’employeur aux caisses de congés payés sont assises sur l’ensemble des salaires pris en compte pour le calcul des cotisations de sécurité sociale, déduction faite pour chacun d’eux d’un abattement dont le montant est fixé annuellement par un arrêté conjoint des ministres chargés de l’emploi et du budget. Cet abattement ne peut être inférieur à 8 000 fois le salaire horaire d’un manœuvre de l’industrie du bâtiment.
