Article D5424-62 of the French Labour Code

Beneficiaries of the specific solidarity allowance, under the conditions and according to the procedures set out in 2° and 3° of article R. 5423-1 and in articles R. 5423-12 to R. 5423-14 and R. 5425-1 :
1° Artists who are authors of works, as referred to in Title V of Book VI of the Social Security Code;
2° Performing artists who are not deemed to be employees, within the meaning of Article L. 762-1, provided that they can prove that they are working in a professional capacity and that they have earned a regular livelihood from this activity for at least three years.
For artists who are authors of works, this condition is deemed to have been met when they can prove that they are affiliated to the general social security scheme, in accordance with Title V of Book VI of the Social Security Code.

Bénéficient de l’allocation de solidarité spécifique, dans les conditions et selon les modalités fixées aux 2° et 3° de l’article R. 5423-1 et aux articles R. 5423-12 à R. 5423-14 et R. 5425-1 :
1° Les artistes auteurs d’œuvres, mentionnés au titre V du livre VI du code de la sécurité sociale ;
2° Les artistes du spectacle qui ne sont pas réputés salariés, au sens de l’article L. 762-1, à condition qu’ils justifient d’un exercice professionnel et qu’ils aient retiré de cet exercice des moyens d’existence réguliers pendant au moins trois ans.
Pour les artistes auteurs d’œuvres, cette condition est réputée satisfaite lorsqu’ils justifient de leur affiliation au régime général de la sécurité sociale, conformément au titre V du livre VI du code de la sécurité sociale.
