Article D553-26 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

Asylum seekers must provide the Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration with all information relating to their place of residence, accommodation arrangements, family situation, professional activities, resources and assets and those of the members of their household. They must inform the Office of any change in any of these details, where applicable under cover of the accommodation operator or the structure responsible for supporting them.

Le demandeur d’asile fait connaître à l’Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration toutes informations relatives à son domicile, ses modalités d’hébergement, sa situation de famille, ses activités professionnelles, ses ressources et ses biens ainsi qu’à ceux des membres de son foyer. Il fait connaître à l’office tout changement intervenu dans l’un ou l’autre de ces éléments, le cas échéant sous couvert de l’opérateur d’hébergement ou de la structure chargée de son accompagnement.
