Article D553-27 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

When not accommodated in one of the places mentioned in article L. 552-1, the asylum seeker informs the Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration of their place of accommodation or housing and the arrangements relating thereto.
The asylum seeker provides this information to the Office as soon as possible following registration of their asylum application or any change in their situation.

Lorsqu’il n’est pas hébergé dans un des lieux mentionnés à l’article L. 552-1, le demandeur d’asile informe l’Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration de son lieu d’hébergement ou de logement ainsi que des modalités s’y rapportant.
Le demandeur d’asile communique ces informations à l’office dans les plus brefs délais suivant l’enregistrement de sa demande d’asile ou tout changement de situation.
