Article D6124-229 of the French Public Health Code

I.-The holder of the cross-sectional imaging authorisation has the facilities required for the equipment to operate correctly, with premises suitable for the proper care of patients, in compliance with the rules of hygiene and asepsis, care safety and protection against ionising radiation.

II.-the holder has premises comprising at least:

1° A patient reception area;

2° An area dedicated to patient examination;

3° An area for preparing for the examination and communicating results, enabling in particular:

a) Analysis of the relevance of examination requests and confirmation of indications;

b) Definition and conduct of the technical radiological protocol;

c) Interpretation of images and drafting of the report;

d) Communicating the results of the examination to patients in confidence.

I.-Le titulaire de l’autorisation d’imagerie en coupes dispose des installations nécessaires au bon fonctionnement de l’équipement, avec des locaux adaptés à une bonne prise en charge des patients, dans le respect des règles d’hygiène et d’asepsie, de sécurité des soins et de protection contre les rayonnements ionisants.

II.-le titulaire dispose de locaux comportant au minimum :

1° Une zone d’accueil des patients ;

2° Une zone dédiée à l’examen des patients ;

3° Une zone de préparation à l’examen et de communication des résultats permettant notamment :

a) L’analyse de la pertinence des demandes d’examen et la confirmation des indications ;

b) La définition et la conduite du protocole technique radiologique ;

c) L’interprétation des images et la rédaction du compte-rendu ;

d) La communication confidentielle des résultats de l’examen aux patients.
