The regional inter-professional joint committee is responsible for:
1° Examining, authorising and paying for the professional transition projects provided for in article L. 6323-17-2 and the professional retraining projects provided for in 4° of I of article L. 4163-7;
2° Examining and verifying the real and serious nature of the professional retraining project referred to in 2° of II of Article L. 5422-1 ;
3° Informing the public about the bodies providing professional development advice and monitoring the implementation of professional development advice in the region, as provided for in Article L. 6223-17-6. This monitoring gives rise to the annual transmission of a report to France Compétences, produced on the basis of indicators transmitted by the vocational guidance operators and a methodology defined by France Compétences;
4° Examination of the appeals mentioned in Articles R. 6323-16 and R. 5422-2-2, and, where applicable, for the projects mentioned in article L. 6323-17-1 and the professional retraining projects provided for in 4° of the I of article L. 4163-7, the transmission of a request for mediation to France compétences provided for in article R. 6123-14 ;
5° Controlling the quality of training provided as part of a professional transition project as provided for in article L. 6316-3 and professional retraining projects as provided for in 4° of the I of article L. 4163-7;
6° Analysing employment, skills and qualification needs in the region and developing regional partnerships with the State, the Regional Council and the players in the public employment service, in particular, in order to develop and implement professional career paths. The regional cross-industry joint committee organises information campaigns on the certification relating to the professional knowledge and skills base mentioned in I of article D. 6113-30 and validation sessions for this certification in the region.
7° Payment of the costs resulting from the training initiatives mentioned in 1° of article L. 6313-1 , which is carried out under the conditions laid down in I and II of article R. 6332-25 and in article R. 6332-26.
