Article D6325-29 of the French Labour Code

A student trades card is issued free of charge to employees on professionalisation contracts as referred to in article L. 6325-6-2, by the organisation or service responsible for their training within thirty days of the conclusion of the contract. If the professionalisation contract is terminated, the card is returned to the training establishment, which is responsible for destroying it.

The vocational student card includes the information specified in article D. 6222-44 and conforms to the model defined in application of the same article.

Une carte d’étudiant des métiers est délivrée gratuitement aux salariés en contrat de professionnalisation mentionnés à l’article L. 6325-6-2, par l’organisme ou le service chargé de leur formation dans les trente jours suivant la conclusion du contrat. En cas de rupture du contrat de professionnalisation, la carte est remise à l’établissement de formation, qui assure sa destruction.


La carte d’étudiant des métiers comporte les mentions prévues à l’article D. 6222-44 et est conforme au modèle défini en application de ce même article.
