Article D6325-6 of the French Labour Code

For each employee on a professionalisation contract, the employer chooses a tutor from among the company’s qualified employees.
The employee chosen to be the tutor must be a volunteer and have at least two years’ professional experience in a qualification related to the professionalisation objective in question.
However, the employer may, in particular in the absence of a qualified employee meeting the conditions laid down in the second paragraph and in article D. 6325-9, provide the tutoring himself, provided that he meets the conditions of qualification and experience.
