Article L122-16-1 of the French Sports Code

The affiliation of an association to a federation gives rise to the issue of an affiliation number by the federation, of which the association is the sole holder.

As part of the agreement provided for in article L. 122-14, the sports company formed by the association has the right to use the association’s affiliation number to carry out the activities entrusted to it.

Article L122-16-1

L’affiliation d’une association à une fédération donne lieu à la délivrance, par cette dernière, d’un numéro d’affiliation dont l’association est seule détentrice.

Dans le cadre de la convention prévue à l’article L. 122-14, la société sportive constituée par l’association dispose du droit d’usage du numéro d’affiliation de cette dernière pour la réalisation des activités qui lui ont été confiées.
