Article L125-4 of the French Insurance Code

Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, the cover referred to in article L. 125-1 of this code includes reimbursement of the cost of geotechnical studies made necessary in advance to restore buildings affected by the effects of a natural disaster, as well as the costs of architects and project managers associated with such restoration, where these are compulsory.

Nonobstant toute disposition contraire, la garantie visée par l’article L. 125-1 du présent code inclut le remboursement du coût des études géotechniques rendues préalablement nécessaires pour la remise en état des constructions affectées par les effets d’une catastrophe naturelle ainsi que les frais d’architecte et de maîtrise d’œuvre associés à cette remise en état, lorsque ceux-ci sont obligatoires.
