Article L125-5 of the French Insurance Code

This chapter does not apply to damage for which compensation is governed by the provisions of Chapter I of Title VI of Book III of the French Rural and Maritime Fishing Code.

Also excluded from the scope of this chapter is damage to air, sea, lake and river vehicles, marine renewable energy installations, as defined in article L. 111-6, as well as transported goods and the damage referred to in article L. 242-1.

Insurance contracts covering the damage mentioned in the previous paragraphs are not subject to payment of the additional premium or contribution.

Article L125-5

Sont exclus du champ d’application du présent chapitre les dommages dont l’indemnisation est régie par les dispositions du chapitre Ier du titre VI du livre III du code rural et de la pêche maritime.

Sont exclus également du champ d’application du présent chapitre les dommages subis par les corps de véhicules aériens, maritimes, lacustres et fluviaux, les installations d’énergies marines renouvelables, au sens de l’article L. 111-6, ainsi que les marchandises transportées et les dommages mentionnés à l’article L. 242-1.

Les contrats d’assurance garantissant les dommages mentionnés aux alinéas précédents ne sont pas soumis au versement de la prime ou cotisation additionnelle.
