Article L131-3-1 of the French Consumer Code

Any breach of the obligation to provide the information mentioned in article L. 111-6 is punishable by an administrative fine of up to €3,000 for a natural person and up to €15,000 for a legal entity.

This fine is imposed under the conditions laid down in Chapter II of Title II of Book V.

Tout manquement à l’obligation d’information mentionnée à l’article L. 111-6 est passible d’une amende administrative dont le montant ne peut excéder 3 000 euros pour une personne physique et 15 000 euros pour une personne morale.

Cette amende est prononcée dans les conditions prévues au chapitre II du titre II du livre V.
