L’office de tourisme constitué sous la forme d’un établissement public industriel et commercial est obligatoirement consulté sur les projets d’équipements collectifs touristiques.

L’office de tourisme constitué sous la forme d’un établissement public industriel et commercial peut, en ce qui concerne l’accueil et l’information, déléguer tout ou partie de cette mission aux organisations existantes qui y concourent.
