Article L141-1 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

Subject to the provisions of this Code, the use of the French language is prescribed in exchanges between the public and the administration, in accordance with Law No. 94-655 of 4 August 1994 on the use of the French language.
