Article L141-4 of the French Sports Code

The French National Olympic and Sports Committee is responsible for conciliating disputes between licence holders, sports agents, sports associations and companies and approved sports federations, with the exception of disputes involving doping.

It sets up a conciliators’ conference and appoints its members.

All conciliators are required to keep secret any information that comes to their knowledge as a result of the application of this article, on pain of the penalties provided for in article 226-13 of the French Penal Code.

The conditions for application of this article shall be laid down by decree in the Conseil d’Etat.

Le Comité national olympique et sportif français est chargé d’une mission de conciliation dans les conflits opposant les licenciés, les agents sportifs, les associations et sociétés sportives et les fédérations sportives agréées, à l’exception des conflits mettant en cause des faits de dopage.

Il constitue une conférence des conciliateurs dont il nomme les membres.

Tout conciliateur est tenu de garder secrète toute information dont il a connaissance, en raison de l’application du présent article, sous peine des sanctions prévues à l’article 226-13 du code pénal.

Les conditions d’application du présent article sont fixées par décret en Conseil d’Etat.
