The Governor of the Banque de France shall submit to the President of the Republic and to Parliament, at least once a year, a report on the operations of the Banque de France, the monetary policy it implements within the framework of the European System of Central Banks and its prospects.
In compliance with the provisions of Article 108 of the Treaty establishing the European Community and the confidentiality rules of the European Central Bank, the Governor of the Banque de France shall be heard by the Finance Committees of the two Assemblies, on their initiative, and may ask to be heard by them.
The accounts of the Banque de France, together with the auditors’ report, are sent to the Finance Committees of the National Assembly and the Senate.
