The trader shall indicate in writing to the consumer at the time of purchase, where applicable, the cost of delivery and of putting the goods into service. The consumer must be given the opportunity to express any reservations in writing when he takes possession of the goods, particularly in the event of a defect in the goods or failure to provide the instructions for use or installation instructions.
The absence of reservations made by the consumer on receipt of the goods does not exonerate the trader from the guarantee of conformity of the goods that he owes to the consumer.
