Article L2212-1 of the French Labour Code

Employees and employers or their representatives can benefit from joint training aimed at improving social dialogue practices in companies, provided by training centres, institutes or organisations. The Institut National du Travail, de l’Emploi et de la Formation Professionnelle (National Institute for Work, Employment and Vocational Training) will assist in the creation and implementation of such training courses. These courses may be attended by judicial or administrative magistrates and other civil servants.

These training courses may be fully or partially financed by credits from the fund provided for in article L. 2135-9.

The conditions for the application of this article are laid down by decree in the Conseil d’Etat.

Article L2212-1

Les salariés et les employeurs ou leurs représentants peuvent bénéficier de formations communes visant à améliorer les pratiques du dialogue social dans les entreprises, dispensées par les centres, instituts ou organismes de formation. L’Institut national du travail, de l’emploi et de la formation professionnelle apporte son concours à la création et à la mise en œuvre de ces formations. Ces formations peuvent être suivies par des magistrats judiciaires ou administratifs et par d’autres agents de la fonction publique.

Ces formations peuvent être en tout ou partie financées par les crédits du fonds prévu à l’article L. 2135-9.

Les conditions d’application du présent article sont prévues par décret en Conseil d’Etat.
