Article L2223-25 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

I.- The authorisation provided for in article L. 2223-23 may be suspended for a maximum period of one year or withdrawn, after formal notice, by the representative of the State in the département where the acts were observed, for the following reasons:

1° Non-compliance with the provisions of this code to which the régies, companies or associations authorised in accordance with article L. 2223-23;

2° Repealed

3° Non-exercise of the activities in respect of which it was issued;

4° Offence to public order or danger to public health.

In the case of a delegate, withdrawal of authorisation entails forfeiture of the delegations.

II.-In the event of cessation of the activities in respect of which the authorisation provided for in article L. 2223-23 has been issued, the representative of the State in the département shall terminate such authorisation.

Article L2223-25

I.- L’habilitation prévue à l’article L. 2223-23 peut être suspendue pour une durée maximum d’un an ou retirée, après mise en demeure, par le représentant de l’Etat dans le département où les faits auront été constatés, pour les motifs suivants :

1° Non-respect des dispositions du présent code auxquelles sont soumises les régies, entreprises ou associations habilitées conformément à l’article L. 2223-23 ;

2° Abrogé

3° Non-exercice des activités au titre desquelles elle a été délivrée ;

4° Atteinte à l’ordre public ou danger pour la salubrité publique.

Dans le cas d’un délégataire, le retrait de l’habilitation entraîne la déchéance des délégations.

II.-En cas de cessation d’exercice des activités au titre desquelles l’habilitation prévue à l’article L. 2223-23 a été délivrée, le représentant de l’Etat dans le département met fin à cette habilitation.
