Article L2241-7 of the French Labour Code

In the absence of an agreement as provided for in Article L. 2241-5 or in the event of non-compliance with its stipulations, the organisations bound by a branch agreement or, failing that, by professional agreements shall enter into the negotiations referred to in Articles L. 2241-1 and L. 2241-2 under the conditions specified by sub-sections 2 to 6 of this section.

A défaut d’accord prévu à l’article L. 2241-5 ou en cas de non-respect de ses stipulations, les organisations liées par une convention de branche ou, à défaut, par des accords professionnels engagent les négociations mentionnées aux articles L. 2241-1 et L. 2241-2 dans les conditions précisées par les sous-sections 2 à 6 de la présente section.
