Article L241-6 of the French Sports Code

The French Anti-Doping Agency may provisionally, temporarily or definitively prohibit the owner or trainer of an animal to which a prohibited substance has been administered or a prohibited procedure applied from allowing the animal to take part in the competitions and events referred to in article L. 241-2, in accordance with the procedures set out in section 4 of chapter II of title III of this book.

The owner or trainer of this animal shall present his observations as part of the disciplinary procedure provided for in section 4 of chapter II of title III of this book. He may also request a new expert opinion.

Article L241-6

L’agence française de lutte contre le dopage peut interdire provisoirement, temporairement ou définitivement selon les modalités prévues à la section 4 du chapitre II du titre III du présent livre au propriétaire ou à l’entraîneur d’un animal auquel a été administrée une substance prohibée ou appliqué un procédé interdit de faire participer son animal aux compétitions et manifestations mentionnées à l’article L. 241-2.

Le propriétaire ou l’entraîneur de cet animal présente ses observations dans le cadre de la procédure disciplinaire prévue par la section 4 du chapitre II du titre III du présent livre. Il peut également demander une nouvelle expertise.
