Article L241-7 of the French Sports Code

The owner, trainer and, where applicable, the athlete who has infringed or attempted to infringe the provisions of this Title shall incur the following administrative penalties:

1° A temporary or permanent ban on taking part in the events mentioned in article L. 241-2 ;

2° A temporary or permanent ban from participating directly or indirectly in the organisation and running of the sporting events referred to in article L. 241-2 and in the training leading up to them;

3° If they are members of an approved sports federation, a temporary or permanent ban from exercising the functions defined in article L. 212-1.

These sanctions are imposed under the conditions set out in Section 4 of Chapter II of Title III of this Book by the French Anti-Doping Agency.

Article L241-7

Le propriétaire, l’entraîneur et le cas échéant le sportif qui ont enfreint ou tenté d’enfreindre les dispositions du présent titre encourent les sanctions administratives suivantes :

1° Une interdiction temporaire ou définitive de participer aux manifestations mentionnées à l’article L. 241-2 ;

2° Une interdiction temporaire ou définitive de participer directement ou indirectement à l’organisation et au déroulement des manifestations sportives mentionnées à l’article L. 241-2 et aux entraînements y préparant ;

3° Lorsqu’ils sont licenciés d’une fédération sportive agréée, une interdiction temporaire ou définitive d’exercer les fonctions définies à l’article L. 212-1.

Ces sanctions sont prononcées dans les conditions prévues à la section 4 du chapitre II du titre III du présent livre par l’Agence française de lutte contre le dopage.
