Article L2432-2 of the French Public procurement code

In the event of a change to the programme or services decided by the project owner, the public works contract is subject to a contractual amendment in accordance with the provisions of Chapter IV of Title IX of Book I. This amendment determines the modified programme and the provisional cost of the works, and adapts the project manager’s remuneration and the terms of his commitment to this provisional cost accordingly.

Article L2432-2

En cas de modification du programme ou de prestations décidées par le maître d’ouvrage, le marché public de maîtrise d’œuvre fait l’objet d’une modification conventionnelle conformément aux dispositions du chapitre IV du titre IX du livre Ier. Cette modification arrête le programme modifié et le coût prévisionnel des travaux, et adapte en conséquence la rémunération du maître d’œuvre et les modalités de son engagement sur ce coût prévisionnel.
