Article L312-26 of the French Consumer Code

From the day after the funds are made available to the borrower and in the event of withdrawal, the borrower shall repay to the lender the capital paid in and shall pay the interest accrued on that capital from the date on which the credit was paid to him until the date on which the capital is repaid, without undue delay and no later than thirty days after sending notification of withdrawal to the lender. Interest is calculated on the basis of the borrowing rate shown in the contract.
The lender is not entitled to any compensation paid by the borrower in the event of withdrawal.

A compter du jour suivant la mise à disposition des fonds à l’emprunteur et en cas de rétractation, l’emprunteur rembourse au prêteur le capital versé et paye les intérêts cumulés sur ce capital depuis la date à laquelle le crédit lui a été versé jusqu’à la date à laquelle le capital est remboursé, sans retard indu et au plus tard trente jours après avoir envoyé la notification de la rétractation au prêteur. Les intérêts sont calculés sur la base du taux débiteur figurant au contrat.
Le prêteur n’a droit à aucune indemnité versée par l’emprunteur en cas de rétractation.
