Departmental council members may receive a travel allowance and reimbursement of the subsistence expenses they incur to take part in meetings of the departmental council, committees and bodies of which they are an ex officio member.
Members of the departmental council with a disability may also receive reimbursement of specific travel, support and technical assistance expenses incurred in connection with the exercise of their mandate.
Members of the departmental council may benefit from reimbursement by the department, on presentation of a statement of expenses and after deliberation by the departmental council, of the costs of childcare or assistance for the elderly, disabled or those requiring personal assistance at home that they have incurred as a result of attending the meetings referred to in article L. 3123-1. This reimbursement may not exceed, per hour, the hourly amount of the minimum growth wage.
They are also entitled to reimbursement of any additional travel and subsistence expenses that may result from the exercise of special mandates entrusted to them by the departmental council.
Other expenses relating to the exercise of a special mandate may be reimbursed to them by the department on presentation of a statement of expenses and after deliberation by the departmental council. With regard to the costs of childcare or assistance to the elderly, disabled or those requiring personal assistance in their own homes, reimbursement may not exceed, per hour, the hourly amount of the minimum growth wage.
The detailed rules for the application of this article shall be laid down by decree.
