Article L3134-11 of the French Labour Code

When it is forbidden, in application of articles L. 3134-4 to L. 3134-9, to employ employees in commercial operations, it is also forbidden during these days to carry out industrial, commercial or craft operations in places of sale to the public. This provision also applies to the commercial activities of consumer cooperatives or associations.

Article L3134-11

Lorsqu’il est interdit, en application des articles L. 3134-4 à L. 3134-9, d’employer des salariés dans les exploitations commerciales, il est également interdit durant ces jours de procéder à une exploitation industrielle, commerciale ou artisanale dans les lieux de vente au public. Cette disposition s’applique également aux activités commerciales des coopératives de consommation ou associations.
