Article L3141-17 of the French Labour Code

The amount of leave that may be taken in one go may not exceed twenty-four working days. Individual exceptions to this limit may be made for employees who can prove that they are subject to particular geographical constraints or that they have a child, a disabled adult or an elderly person who is losing their independence.

La durée des congés pouvant être pris en une seule fois ne peut excéder vingt-quatre jours ouvrables. Il peut être dérogé individuellement à cette limite pour les salariés qui justifient de contraintes géographiques particulières ou de la présence au sein du foyer d’un enfant ou d’un adulte handicapé ou d’une personne âgée en perte d’autonomie.
