Article L3253-14 of the French Labour Code

The insurance provided for in article L. 3253-6 is implemented by an association created by representative national professional employers’ organisations and approved by the administrative authority.

This association enters into a management agreement with the body managing the unemployment insurance scheme and with the Agence centrale des organismes de sécurité sociale for the collection of the contributions referred to in article L. 3253-18.

If this association is dissolved, the administrative authority entrusts the body provided for in Article L. 5427-1 with the management of the insurance scheme instituted in Article L. 3253-6, with the exception of the collection of the contributions mentioned in Article L. 3253-18 entrusted to the bodies mentioned in Article L. 5422-16.

This association and the aforementioned body constitute the guarantee institutions against the risk of non-payment.

Article L3253-14

L’assurance prévue à l’article L. 3253-6 est mise en oeuvre par une association créée par les organisations nationales professionnelles d’employeurs représentatives et agréée par l’autorité administrative.

Cette association conclut une convention de gestion avec l’organisme gestionnaire du régime d’assurance chômage et avec l’Agence centrale des organismes de sécurité sociale pour le recouvrement des cotisations mentionnées à l’article L. 3253-18.

En cas de dissolution de cette association, l’autorité administrative confie à l’organisme prévu à l’article L. 5427-1 la gestion du régime d’assurance institué à l’article L. 3253-6, à l’exception du recouvrement des cotisations mentionnées à l’article L. 3253-18 confié aux organismes mentionnés à l’article L. 5422-16.

Cette association et l’organisme précité constituent les institutions de garantie contre le risque de non-paiement.
