Article L3311-1 of the French Public Health Code

The State organises and coordinates the prevention and treatment of alcoholism.

Expenditure incurred by the application of this article shall be borne by the State, without prejudice to the participation of health insurance schemes in the expenditure on outpatient and inpatient care, and in the medico-social expenditure of the centres mentioned in article L. 3311-2.

Article L3311-1

L’Etat organise et coordonne la prévention et le traitement de l’alcoolisme.

Les dépenses entraînées par l’application du présent article sont à la charge de l’Etat, sans préjudice de la participation des régimes d’assurance maladie aux dépenses de soins de ville et d’hospitalisation, et aux dépenses médico-sociales des centres mentionnés à l’article L. 3311-2.
