Article L411-2 of the French Consumer Code

Any operator who becomes aware, after acquiring or transferring products, of non-compliance with the regulations relating to a substantial quality of all or part of these products, shall inform without delay, by any means that he can justify, the person who supplied him with these products and those to whom he transferred them.
