Without prejudice to the right to have recourse, if the conditions are met, to the reporting or public disclosure mechanism provided for in Chapter II of Title I of Law 2016-1691 of 9 December 2016 on transparency, the fight against corruption and the modernisation of economic life, workers shall immediately alert the employer if they believe, in good faith, that the products or manufacturing processes used or implemented by the establishment pose a serious risk to public health or the environment.
The alert is recorded in writing under conditions determined by regulation.
The employer shall inform the worker who has made the alert of the action it intends to take.
